Time: from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Place: Queen's Park
Directions: Queen's Park is situated just south of the Royal Ontario Museum (at Bloor Street West and Avenue Road/Queen's Park) and north of the Ontario Legislative Building (at Queen's Park Crescent and Wellesley Street West).
The Word On The Street (WOTS) is a national celebration of literacy and the written word. In Toronto, Queen's Park will transform into a literary theme park for the 18th annual The Word On The Street. There's something to enjoy for readers of all levels at WOTS.
Visitors can browse more than 250 book, magazine and literacy exhibitor booths in the festival marketplace, or check out the more than 200 featured authors, poets, storytellers, performers and industry experts at any of the 14 on-site performance venues.
There will be plenty to see and do at this year's festival, and best of all, WOTS and all of its events are FREE! As Canada's largest annual outdoor book and magazine festival, WOTS is your ticket to free family fun this fall.
If you're a PWAC member and an author, you may sell your books at the PWAC booth during your volunteer shift. Contact Grace Cherian at g.cherian@pwactoronto.org to volunteer at the festival.
Thank you in advance for helping PWAC to make this year's WOTS a success!
