PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
PWAC Professional members make up over 80% of our national member base and can access full PWAC membership benefits and many free additional programs and services. Professional Members are voting delegates at PWAC's Annual General Meeting and are eligible to become elected members of PWAC Toronto Chapter Executive Board and PWAC's National Board of Directors. Professional Members must qualify by providing proof of published content or works written for pay, within the past 2 years.
ANY of the following are acceptable submissions for proof of eligibility.

Magazine or newspaper articles (print or on-line) |

Major writing projects (e.g. annual reports, government reports, newsletters, speeches, documentaries and scripts for radio, TV, film or live performance radio broadcasts, telecasts, press kits, brochures, information kits). |

One or more years full-time or equivalent part-time work experience in magazine or newspaper writing. Published one or more books of non-fiction writing |

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Associate Members can access all PWAC member benefits, programs and services, however are ineligible for an elected position with PWAC Toronto Chapter Executive Board or PWAC's National Board of Directors. Associate Members must have published at least ONE non-fiction article of at least 300 words within the past year .

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
Student Members have access to most PWAC member benefits and services; however do not qualify for a listing on www.WRITERS.ca
Student Members must be registered as full-time students at a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada .
