12-week course: Copywriting That Sells
Tuesday, January 18, 2011

If you want to master the craft of writing copy that sells – whether you plan to be an advertising copywriter or simply want to understand the techniques behind persuasive writing – this course is for you. It’s interactive, practical and fun.

Using a textbook designed for the course, plus lectures, examples, and individual and group exercises, your instructor will guide you through the process of producing copy that works – no matter what your objective or target market.

You’ll learn techniques that remove the guesswork from writing, as well as how to tap into your inner creativity. You’ll discover ways to isolate your unique selling proposition, craft appeals that create desire, compose headlines and layouts that command attention, and write body copy that motivates buyers.

You’ll learn how to do this for newspaper and magazine ads, billboards, direct mail and email, web and radio broadcast. You’ll practise the craft in class, and receive constructive criticism from an expert wordsmith.
