Whether you discover an original Alexander Pope manuscript or a pencil draft in Margaret Atwood's illegible scrawl, our city is the lucky home to a den of literary history. Join fellow chapter members for a tour through the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, and be privy to a secret Toronto treasure.

TIME: 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Location: Bill Bolton Arena, 40 Rossmore Road, near the corner of Bathurst and Dupont.


Exchange your keyboard and smartphone for a pair of skates and a helmet, and join fellow members for a game of co-ed shinny hockey. Slap sticks with your peers and exchange freelancing tips with fellow GTA-based wordsmiths. All levels are welcome.

Danforth Success Group

The PWAC Danforth Success Group is made up of PWAC members living anywhere along (or near) Danforth Ave., and provides a great opportunity to meet with fellow PWAC members, socialize in the neighbourhood and provide mutual business support. The group meets every other week at Danforth coffee shops, restaurants and watering holes (and occasionally the Distillery District). West Enders Monthly Freelancer's Lunch
Freelance writers living in the west end of Toronto meet once a month for lunch in the High Park area. It's mostly social, but networking is encouraged too. For more information contact Sue Bowness at [email protected].
